“After work glow”
I’ve been trying to notice the times throughout the day when I’m most refreshed and energised. And then replicating that energy so that I can feel this way more often.
Today, I notice I’m usually most invigorated at a very specific time.
No, it wasn’t after my first sip of coffee… Though that is a close second.
It’s right after I end work. When I’m walking out of the heart centre towards the bus stop. I feel like I can take on the day and (finally) be productive in working towards my goals.
No wonder most of my running sessions are right after work.
On days where I don’t run, I ruin this “after work glow” by taking the dreary bus ride home, where I always end up falling asleep and feeling groggy while walking home.
I wonder if I can replicate this refreshed feeling (or the circumstances around this feeling) so that I can feel more energised throughout the entire day.
Imagine having energy on demand. That would be amazing.
